Spotlight: Three Blind Vines

Looking for a cool, retro night on the town?  The annual Three Blind Vines is right around the corner and is your chance to sample some great wines, taste some of the best food from great local restaurants, indulge in a silent auction, and party like a "Hollywood" star.  This year's theme of Classic Hollywood lets you journey back in time to enjoy a great night out while helping raise money for the Franklin Theatre.  Here's the skinny on this year's event.

Guide to the Southern Artisan Cheese Festival

Back for its 3rd year, the Southern Artisan Cheese festival is a unique culinary experience in Nashville and draws some of the South's best cheesmakers and artisans.  Staged in historic Germantown in the Neuhoff Building (which is an old Nashville meat packing plant), the event draws hundreds every year and mixes great food, drink, and cheese in a location that is uniquely Nashville. There will be over 19 cheesemakers from six states, over twenty food artisans serving up meats, breads gelato and more, and over twenty-five wine and craft beer makers, including local favorites Yazoo Brewing and Jackelope Brewing who will be serving up a Cheese Fest exclusive brew, Methusalina Milk Stout!

Now in it's 11th year, Wine on the River is a uniquely Nashville Fall event that showcases the best Nashville restaraunts and wines from across the world.  Couple that with holding the event high up on the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge and you have the makings of a great way to spend your Saturday afternoon in Music City.
