What better way can you think to support our hometown military and first responder heros than by participating in a muddy, exciting adventure race?  In it's inaugural year, the Hometown Heroes Run is bound to be a event for the whole family and a day of great fun.  From a fully loaded 3-4 mile obstacle course to start off your day, to enjoying some good fun with the family on Honeysuckle Farm in the afternoon, the event is a great way to get out and enjoy the early Spring in Nashville.  Mark you calendars and get ready for this not-to-be-missed event!

Spotlight: Nashville Zoo Run Run

One of our favorite races in Nashville is right around the corner.  Don't let the cold weather scare you off either.  The Nashville Zoo Run Run is one of Nashville's most unique, fun and must-do 5k's in the city.  Here's the scoop on one of our favorites of the year.



Race Overview

When: Saturday, January 25; 3:00pm

The Zoo Run Run takes place on Nashville Zoo’s property and leads participants throughout the park and on the back of the property, winding through some undeveloped areas as well as public pathways. Be aware that several areas are gravel roads, dirt trails or otherwise unpaved paths.  

Activities include:

> A 5K trail that will take you on an adventure throughout the Zoo’s property, including areas not available to the public

> Dinner and refreshments after you complete the race

> Awards Ceremony for race participants
