We all have someone who is impossible to buy for and in my case it’s my dad. He has everything he wants, and if he doesn’t have it he buys it. This leaves me with options such as Bass Pro Shop gift cards, tickets to UT games and…I’m running out of ideas already.

Then again, he does have a smart phone, which leads me to the idea of giving him a useful app as one of his gifts. He could stand to get motivated and drop a few pounds by eating better and exercising more…just like someone you know. Let’s face it, food is part of every get-together this time of year and we will all indulge.  Food is to nourish our bodies first and foremost, but good eats and once-a-year treats are also part of that makes this time of the year special. However, if you’re trying to maintain the gains (and losses) you’ve made this year, the following will give you some idea of what that glass of egg nog will cost you in exercise.
