INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons reduced-calorie canola butter, softened
  • large egg
  • large egg white
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • Cooking spray
  • (8-ounce) block 1/3-less-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup "measures-like-sugar" calorie-free sweetener
  • 3 tablespoons 1% low-fat milk

 

PREPARATTION

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Beat sugar and margarine with a mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg, egg white, and vanilla; beat well. Gradually add flour and cocoa, beating well. Pour into an 8-inch square pan coated with cooking spray.

  • Bunch of green grapes
  • Low-fat Greek yogurt
  • Pistachios, chopped

 

Instructions

  1. Dip each grape in low-fat Greek yogurt.
  2. Roll the grapes in chopped pistachios.
  3. Once covered, put in the freezer until grapes are frozen and enjoy.

Dark Chocolate Nut Bark

 

Servings: 3 dozen  Serving Size: 1 1/2-inch peices
Prep time: 5 min;  Cooking time: 25 min; Total Time: 30 min
Nutrition/serving: 74 calories,

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips (high cocoa content of 70% or more), melted
  • 1 1/2 cups assorted nuts, such as hazelnuts, almonds and/ or cashews

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Line a deep-rimmed baking sheet with foil.
  2. Slowly melt the dark chocolate in a bowl while slowly mixing in the nuts.
  3. Scrape the mixture onto the foil and spread it into a rectangle that is approximately 1/2 inch deep.
  4. Refrigerate until set, about 20 minutes.
  5. Transfer the bark and foil to a cutting board and cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces.
