This is the time of year for weight loss resolutions, but most of the same people who tried to lose weight last year are trying again this year. This is because the majority of diets don’t focus on lasting behavior change.
So, which is the "best diet" to follow? I would recommend you ask yourself two questions to measure your readiness to begin any weight control program:
- Is this a good time for me to start a program? If you are under heavy stress or a hectic travel schedule, for instance, you may want to postpone your efforts until the timing is better. You need to give this effort one hundred percent of your attention.
- Are you self-motivated to lose weight or are you being pressured to lose weight by someone else? You are most likely to be successful in ...
