We are so blessed to live in a city as beautiful as Nashville.  Lush green landscape, rolling hills, picturesque waterways and town squares right out of a Norman Rockwell painting!  So it goes with out saying... riding a bicycle or going for a walk in Nashville isn't just exercise, it's an experience.

Grilled Jalapeño Tuna Steaks

Grilled Jalapeño Tuna Steaks
Servings: 4
Prep time: 15 mins; cooking time: 10 mins
Nutrition/serving: 160 calories,
4.5 g fat, 1.2g carbohydrates, 27g protein 








  • 1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 TSP fresh lime juice
  • 1 minced jalapeno pepper
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 lb. tuna steaks (Ahi tuna preferred)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste



  1. Gather and prepare all the necessary ingredients.
  2. In a flat baking dish or wide mixing bowl, blend together oil, lime juice, garlic, jalapeno pepper and salt and pepper to taste until well combined.
  3. Place raw tuna steaks in baking dish with marinade, turning multiple times to coat both sides completely with mixture.
  4. Cover baking dish tightly with plastic wrap. Place tuna steaks with jalapeno mixture in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to marinate before grilling.
  5. Prepare and preheat the grill to high heat and oil grill grate lightly.
