Guide to Porchfest 2014






Date: Saturday, June 21st

Time: 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, neighborhood porches throughout the neighborhood will host a variety of musicians.  Lightning 100 will be broadcasting LIVE from Town Center from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and the evening will wrap up with a concert on the lake, starting at 8:00 PM.

Location: Westhaven Subdivision, Corner of Front Street and Westhaven Blvd, Franklin, TN 37064



By most accounts, Porchfest has its roots in Ithaca, New York, where residents of the Fall Creek neighborhood realized that they had an abundance of musicians and front porches. Gretchen Hildreth and Lesley Greene started the festival as a way for their neighbors to showcase their musical talents on ready-made “stages.” The concept is very simple – find musicians to play, and find porches for them to play on. Salmon Burgers

Salmon Burgers
Servings: 4
Prep time: 15 mins; cooking time: 11 mins
Nutrition/serving: 190 calories,

1.1g carbohydrates, 25.2g protein










  • 1 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 (1-pound) salmon fillet, skinned and chopped 
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 large egg white 
  • Cooking spray
  • 8 (3/4-ounce) slices focaccia, toasted


  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine hot pepper sauce and egg white in a small bowl; add egg white mixture to salmon mixture, stirring well to combine.
