Guide to the 12th Annual Music City Brewers Festival

Guide to the 12th Annual Music City Brewers Festival

Now in its 12th year, the Music City Brewers Festival is one of the city's coolest festivals and showcases great craft beers, local music and food from around the city. .  As in year's past, the festival will bring together the finest breweries and micro-breweries from across the country along with some activities that make this one unique event. Speaking of unique, the Beer 101 tent will be educating attendees on beer facts, differences in beer styles, how to evaluate a beer, and even how to brew your own.  Here's the skinny on the festival and everything you need to know.

This year's event will be held Saturday, July 27 at the Music City Walk of Fame Park on 4th Ave South, right next door to the Bridgestone arena, Music City Center and Country Music Hall of Fame.  The festival opens at 10am and goes until 10pm.  Tickets are $35 plus tax and includes a souvenir cup and access to sample all the beers.

This year's event has over 30 breweries from all over the country and from as far away as Hawaii!  Some of the most prominent names that will be at the festival include: Blue Moon Brewing Company from Denver, Sweetwater from Boulder, CO, Leinenkugel Family Brewing from Chippewa Falls, WI, local favorite Boscos, Kona Brewing company from Hawaii, Abita Brewing company from Abita Springs, LA (our personal favorite), Peroni from Italy, Modelo Especial from Mexico, and many, many others.

What's a festival without food?  The lineup this year includes some great local eateries to choose from including: Martins BBQ from Nolensville serving some of the best BBQ in the country (and they were featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives), Boutique Burger Bar, and eco-friendly neighborhood burger joint that specializes in high-end classic and regionally inspired gourmet mini burgers, as well as pizza and great Italian from Mafiozas.
